8th Grade Culmination
- Students will be evaluated based on the marks and credits earned in the eighth grade to earn a Certificate of Completion. Students will earn 5 credits for passing each semester course with a ‘D’ or better. Grades from all subject areas will be used to determine credits earned in eighth grade.
- Students must earn 50 credits to be eligible for the Certificate of Completion.
🎓 8th Grade Culmination Ceremony Dress Code
To help make our ceremony respectful, memorable, and comfortable for everyone, please follow these simple dress guidelines:
👕 Clothing Guidelines:

Dressy attire is encouraged (think “church clothes” or “business casual”).

Dresses, skirts, or slacks with a nice blouse or shirt are appropriate.

Dress shirts with collars and dress pants are recommended for boys (ties are optional).

Jackets or blazers are fine but not required.
👞 Shoes:

Wear closed toe or dress shoes (no flip-flops, slides, or house slippers).

Low heels or flats are preferred for safety and comfort.

Avoid athletic sneakers unless medically necessary.

Ripped jeans, shorts, tank tops, crop tops, or t-shirts with logos.

Clothing with offensive or inappropriate messages.

Hats, caps, or hoods during the ceremony (except for religious/cultural reasons).

This is a formal school event. Dress in a way that shows respect for yourself and others.

All clothing must follow the school’s general dress code.
If you're unsure about your outfit, feel free to check with a teacher or school administrator ahead of time.
No balloons or fresh flowers inside of the church or at the ceremony.
